Endosonographic criteria

  • Mural nodule

  • Wall thickness

  • Septations

  • Adjacent mass

  • Ductal communication
Cytological criteria

  • Thick, colloid-like extracellular mucin without cells

  • Mucinous epithelium with cytoplasmic mucin

  • Low-grade mucinous, epithelium in a transduodenal FNA

  • High-grade atypia or adenocarcinoma
