Histone H3-positive cells shown as dark dots indicate proliferating cells, and a necrotic area is visible on the left side of each section. (C) The average density of proliferating cells of glioma was lower (P = 0.18) in anti-VEGF-treated tumors (N = 11, 24–48 hrs post treatment) than in non-treated group (N = 6).
