FdhD likely binfd bis-MGD and IscS transfers the sulfur to the Mo atom by exchanging an oxo-group and adding the sulfido ligand. Afterwards, sulfurated bis-MGD is inserted into FdhF, which contains additionally an [4Fe4S] cluster.
