Expansion of Prevotella copri was associated with diarrhea due to Entamoeba histolytica in children from 600 to 800 days of age. Samples collected between 600 and 800 days of age from an E. histolytica–associated diarrheal sample (DS) or a sample in which E. histolytica was detected but colonization was not coincident with disease (COL) were compared after normalization to Enterobacteriaceae levels.
