Depletion of Tregs aggravates TP-induced liver injury. The mice were administered with purified anti-mouse CD25 antibody (200 μg/mouse; i.p.) 48 h before the TP administration, then underwent TP administration (500 μg/kg; i.g.) and sacrificed 24 h after TP administration. Changes of serum ALT (A) and AST (B) levels were measured. Liver specimens were excised and fixed in 10% neutral-buffered formalin to generate tissue sections stained with H&E (C).
