MI-219 increases DNA damage in a p53-dependent manner. Foci formation assays were conducted on (A–B) 22RV1 cells with or without p53 knockdown and (C–D) LNCaP cells with or without p53 knockdown. Cells were treated with 10 μM MI-219, radiation (10 Gy), or both and stained for H2Ax phosphorylation (ƴH2AX) at indicated time points.
