Illustration of a novel protein coding gene: Six GSSPs (red bars) were identified in the positive strand of Supercontig 3.1 where no gene has been annotated. Ortholog evidences from different species of Candida suggest the existence of a protein coding gene in this region (Multiple Sequence Alignment). Based on the combined evidences, we propose the gene model for IOB_CT_NG_5.
