Length distribution of predicted and observed domains. Overall, the length of structural domains predicted by CHOPnet (black line with open circles) was rather similar to that assigned from 3D structures by CATH (light grey with plus signs). We compiled the distribution with 10 residue bins. The obvious noise in the distributions revealed the limited size of our datasets (1187 PDB chains).
