Interpolated values of the total (contracted) circumferential stretch and biaxial Cauchy stresses based on data collected at 90 mmHg at ${\lambda }_{\mathrm{z}}^{\text{aiv}}$ for Fbln5^+/+ and Fbln5^−/− DTAs. No significant difference in circumferential stress and stretch was found between the two groups though there was a significant difference in activation-induced change in stress during SMC contraction. The total axial stress was significantly different between the two groups while changes during contraction were small.
