No association was found between the frequencies of Th9 cells and serum levels of IL-9 and IL-10 with HBV-LC patients with and without complications. Correlations of Th9 cell frequency, and IL-9 and IL-10 levels in patients with or without HCC, ascites, infection, hypersplenism, and esophageal varices were analyzed using the Mann–Whitney U test.
