Annotated MS/MS spectrum for HmIF4, a novel peptide in the family of glial intermediate filament. The annotation explains 78.41% of the total peak intensity, with strong b and a fragment-ion series. Corresponding MALDI and in situ hybridization images (panels b and c respectively) both show CNS localization. MS1 (panel a) has good isotope resolution.
