Fig. 6 — T₁ and T₂ signal changes specific to the in vivo bladder tumor as the result of particle injections. The normalized average MRI intensities of bladder tumor and normal (sham-injected, negative control) bladder wall were measured before and after administration of MSN. The result was an increase in apparent T₁ intensity and a decrease in T₂ intensity in tumor bladders, compared with minimal change in the normal bladder wall (*−p < 0.0001)
