When treated with M2CM, the morphology of SMMC7721 cells was found to have changed into a diffused fibroblast-like morphology characteristic of EMT, this was not observed with the remaining groups; (c) Changes in the mRNA expressions of the EMT-related genes in SMMC7721 cells after treated with UM0CM, M1CM and M2CM.
