In the former analysis, classification performance was significantly better than chance in left DLPFC and PrC. In the latter analysis, encoding activity was classified as the distractor-condition vocabulary task significantly above chance frequency in left DLPFC. Note that only ROIs with above-chance classification performance in the first multivariate analysis were used in the second analysis. Error bars reflect standard error of the mean.
