Yeast one-hybrid assays of AaDREB1. All yeast transformants carrying dual reporter genes were examined for growth in the presence of 3-AT, and β-galactosidase activity. The pAD-AaDREB1 was transformed into DRE yeast (D1, D2), with the DRE yeast containing the pAD-AtCBF3 as the positive control (D+) and the mDRE yeast containing the pAD-AtCBF3 as the negative control (D-). Transformants were streaked on YPAD medium or SD/-Try with 30 mM 3-AT and grown at 30 °C for 2 days to observe growth and β-galactosidase activities.
