OPG is essential in the ability of heparin to enhance osteoclast formation. (A) Empty Y4 supernatant were incubated with or without OPG neutralizing antibody, heparin, and exogenous OPG to obtain conditioned medium used in NONE, anti-OPG, and exogenous OPG groups. Each conditioned medium were added with recombinant RANKL to make sure the osteoclast can formed; (B) RAW264.7 were cultured in three types of conditioned medium and osteoclast formation was assessed (n = 3).
