Mass spectrometry confirms that both immunoreactive species are rab17

The 25- and 40-kDa bands of all three rab17 proteins were excised from Coomassie Blue-stained gels, eluted, and processed for mass spectrometry. From the different tryptic fragments (Frags.) analyzed for each sample, the percent coverage of the rab17 sequence was calculated. The high ions scores confirm that each sample contains rab17.
