(Right) Corresponding DS-OCT images show increasing restructuring and heterogeneity of the artificial ECM with increasing RMF seed density. The green arrow indicates a region void of GNRs, which is attributed to the presence of an RMF cell, and the black arrows point to sites of ECM degradation evident with DS-OCT that are not observable in the HV-OCT image.
