Stretch-dependent effects on Lamin A/C and Prelamin A in human aortic smooth muscle cells. Human aortic smooth muscle cells (SMC) were grown to confluence and following a change of complete medium were then exposed to 20 hours stretch (15% elongation, 1 Hz) followed by 20-hours relaxation.
