Treatment of 5-Aza-dC increases the mRNA expression of Wnt10a (A) and osteoblastogenic markers Alpl (B), BGLAP (C), Twist1 (D), and Dlx5 (E). ST2 cells were induced to differentiate into osteoblasts in the presence of either PBS or 5-Aza-dC at the time points indicated in the figures. mRNA was measured by real-time RT-PCR. All data are expressed as mean ± SEM (n = 3–6); *p < 0.05 vs. control.
