Multiple regression with quadratic assignment procedure (MRQAP) was used to predict modified Dictator Game point allocation based on individual difference and network variables. Independent variables eliminated from the Year 9 model due to nonsignificance were IRI EC receiving (= .01, = .465), IRI PT receiving (= .01, = .471), best friends receiving (= .07, = .438), Mach giving (= −.02, = .429), best friends giving (= −.27, = .339), Duration 1 (= −.40, = .336), IRI PT giving (= −.06, = .275), FASII receiving (= −.08, = .262), SNQ reciprocation (= .90, = .252), Mach receiving (= −.09, = .082), and FASII giving (= −.33, = .054). Due to low variance, Duration 2 variables were not entered into the model. Independent variables eliminated from the Year 10 model were Mach giving (= .00, = .485), IRI EC receiving (= .00, = .468), best friends giving (= .05, = .470), FASII giving (= .02, = .445), IRI PT giving (= −.09, = .131), IRI EC giving (= .04, = .207), Duration 2 receiving (= .29, = .121), best friends receiving (= −.19, = .150), Duration 2 giving (= −.65, = .091), IRI PT receiving (= .02, = .074), FASII receiving (= −.12, = .059), and Mach receiving (= .01, = .091). Independent variables eliminated from the Year 11A model were IRI EC receiving (= −.01, = .446), IRI EC giving (= −.02, = .437), FASII giving (= .06, = .403), best friends giving (= .06, = .424), FASII receiving (= −.10, = .307), best friends receiving (= −.13, = .313), IRI PT giving (= −.08, = .183), Mach giving (= −.02, = .328), IRI PT receiving (= −.11, = .063), Mach receiving (= −.03, = .182), and Duration 1 (= −1.26, = .072). Due to low variance, Duration 2 variables were not entered into the model. Independent variables eliminated from the Year 11B model were FASII receiving (= −.02, = .461), IRI EC giving (= .02, = .457), Mach giving (= .01, = .405), FASII giving (= −.06, = .382), IRI PT giving (= −.04, = .310), Mach receiving (= −.01, = .317), IRI EC receiving (= .05, = .276), best friends receiving (= −.18, = .261), best friends giving (= −.39, = .156), IRI PT receiving (= −.07, = .076), and Duration 1 (= −2.18, = .090). Due to low variance, Duration 2 variables were not entered into the model. SNQ = Social Network Questionnaire; IRI PT = interpersonal reactivity index perspective‐taking; EC = empathic concern; FASII = family Affluence Scale.
