Plots display the fraction of fat pixels with Mz < 0.1 following PABST pulses optimized for the different coils. Little gain is seen for channel counts greater than 12. At extremely high off-resonance (8 and 10 ppm), the PABST method is able to effectively saturate over three times more fat than a single-channel transmitter.
