Rate of dissociation of PLP from hPNPO•PLP. Each enzyme with tightly bound PLP was incubated at 37 °C in the presence of 3 μm PLP phosphatase and the decrease in absorbance at 410 nm where protein‐bound PLP absorbs (•‐•) and increase of absorbance at 315 nm where free PL absorbs (♦‐♦) was monitored.
