Telmisartan induces both caspase‐dependent and ‐independent cell death. (A–G) S1T, MT‐2, Jurkat and HL60 cells were treated with telmisartan (50 or 100 μm), anti‐Fas antibody (100 ng·mL⁻¹), and Z‐VAD‐FMK (40 μm) for 72 h. Viability of cultured cells was measured by WST‐8 assay. (B–G) Annexin V‐, TUNEL‐, and caspase‐positive cells were detected by flow cytometry.
