TABLE 3.

Pocket/groove volume around the active-site/Zn2+-coordinating-site in the 11 human APOBEC3 domains (solid green blobs in Figs. 7, 8) as calculated by SiteMap(Halgren; Maestro)(see Materials & Methods). In the context of double-domain APOBEC3 proteins, the catalytically active domain (indicated by *) consistently has a larger pocket volume than the inactive domain. All numbers rounded-off to one digit after decimal.
