Distilled water, Diazepam (5 mg/kg), M. scandens water extract (MS WE), M. scandens ethanolic extract (MS EE) were administered orally 60 min before the injection of PTZ (60 mg/kg, i.p); values are the mean ± S.E.M. for 8 rats.
