The EUS image shows the origin of the left subclavian artery from the arch of the aorta. The formation of the left brachiocephalic vein is observed by the union of the left internal jugular vein and the left subclavian vein near the lower part of the supraclavicular triangle. In general, the venous system is larger and lies more laterally, and is observed beyond the left common carotid artery in this image. The yellow line represents the upper border of the aortic arch and the orange line shows the lowermost point of the supraclavicular triangle.
