Hydration of phenylbutene 1 with O₂ monitored by GC-FID. Reaction performed with Mn(acac)₃/Ph(i-PrO)SiH₂ in THF ( ), Mn(dpm)₃/Ph(i-PrO)SiH₂ in THF ( ) and Mn(acac)₃/PhSiH₃ in THF (●) or isopropanol ( ). Co(acac)₂/PhSiH₃ and Ph(i-PrO)SiH₂ in THF are both efficient.
