Rapamycin does not prevent SE-induced granule cell enlargement. Confocal maximum projections of GFP-expressing granule cells. Mice that underwent SE and received daily vehicle injections contained granule cells with enlarged somas. Mice receiving rapamycin treatment following SE also possessed large granule cell somas.
