The system size is defined as the cubic root of the average charged particle multiplicity density (${⟨\mathrm{d}{N}_{\mathrm{ch}}/\mathrm{d}{\mathit{\eta }}_{\mathrm{lab}}⟩}^{1/3}$) measured in the ALICE central barrel ($|{\mathit{\eta }}_{\mathrm{lab}}|$ $<$ 0.5) in $\mathrm{pp}$ at $\sqrt{s}$  = 7 TeV (green) [30, 64], $\text{p--Pb}$ at $\sqrt{s_{\text{NN}}}$  = 5.02 TeV (blue) [47, 68] and $\text{Pb--Pb}$ at $\sqrt{s_{\text{NN}}}=2.76\mathrm{TeV}$ (red) [33, 42].
