Phenotype of Brassica rapa subsp. rapa cv. Tsuda seedling and anthocyanin content after dark, blue light or UV-A treatment. Seedlings were exposed to blue light at 10 W m−2, UV-A at 3 W m−2, or to no light (dark). Anthocyanin was extracted from fresh whole seedlings, and the concentration was determined using absorbance at OD530 per gram of fresh mass. Vertical bars indicate ± SE (n = 8)
