Results of whole‐brain group analysis comparing the correlation between age and cortical thickness in PAX6 subjects and controls. Highlighted regions represent areas where cortical thickness declined quicker with age in PAX6 subjects than controls, that is, predominantly in the inferior parietal lobe, and prefrontal and premotor areas in both hemispheres. All results are corrected for family wise errors. The P‐values of the clusters shown extend from 0.0001 (light blue) to 0.02 (dark blue), and are superimposed on lateral/medial views of the left/right inflated hemispheres derived from the Freesurfer FsAverage brain template made in MNI305 space. Coordinates and P‐values for clusters are documented in Table 3.
