Fig. 2 — The bacteria/bleomycin cluster was enriched in DEGs associated with defensive responses to various stimuli. A short list of genes was generated for the bacteria/bleomycin cluster (highlighted in pink in Fig. 1). Genes that were differentially expressed in at least 50 % of the arrays that make up the cluster were included in the shortlist. The ClueGO app for Cytoscape software with GO Fusion was utilized to identify biological functions that were enriched in the shortlist and reduce any repetitive GOs. GOs were collapsed back to their parent GOs to further simplify data presentation. A heatmap was generated to visualize the cluster’s shortlist, organized by biological function
