Immunofluorescence detection of α-smooth muscle actin (α-SMA) in isolated normal fibroblasts (NFs) and tumor-associated fibroblasts (TAFs). NFs originated from dermal tissue and TAFs from liposarcomas. TAFs expressed α-SMA. TAF1 were obtained from intermediate-grade myxoid/round cell liposarcoma and TAF2 from high-grade pleomorphic liposarcoma.
