Proline-rich tyrosine kinase 2 (Pyk2) activation is required for hypoxia-induced human pulmonary artery smooth muscle cell (HPASMC) proliferation. A, HPASMCs were exposed to normoxia or hypoxia (1% O2) for 72 hours. Cell lysates were immunoblotted with anti-phospho-(Tyr402)-Pyk2 antibody to determine Pyk2 activation.
