By 72 hours, BEAS-2B and control clones nearly restored to normal levels, while cadmium clone viability decreased steadily over time, indicating diminished ability to repair alkylated damage induced by TMZ. **p < 0.01 for all cadmium clones versus control clones after 72 hour TMZ treatment.
