The “number of blast exposures” variable reflects the self‐reported estimation of number of blast events that involved feeling the pressure wave; these reports were taken at face value and not separately reviewed by consensus raters of blast mTBI. In contrast, “numbers of mTBI” were carefully reviewed by consensus raters.
