(C) Mean cross sectional area of MHC IIA and IIB myofibers in the tibialis anterior of wild-type and Pus1−/− mice. Data are expressed as the percentage of wild-type to account for differences in size between male and female mice. Muscles from 13 wild-type and 9 Pus1−/− were examined. Data were analyzed with t-Tests and significance was set at p < 0.05. An asterisk (*) indicates the results for Pus1−/− mice are significantly different from wild-type mice at p < 0.05.
