The dashed horizontal lines (shifted vertically for clarity) represent the 3.5-second averaging windows identified by an automated sliding algorithm. The difference between these mean alignments represents the phoria. Using this technique phorias could be estimated with 95% CIs of less than or equal to ±2 pd (∼ ±1°).
