Relative inducibility of core promoters is consistent across host cell types, with minCMV providing high absolute expression and YB_TATA achieving large fold-change in the induced state. The plasmid constructs shown in Figure 2a encoding Gluc were transiently transfected into HEK 293T, MCF7, and Jurkat cells. Cells were cultured under normoxic or anaerobic conditions.
