Biocompatibility of polyanionic carbosilane dendrimers in Vero cells.

Notes: Viability of epithelial Vero cells was evaluated by MTT assay after 24 hours of exposure to a range of dendrimer concentrations; 80% of viability was set as the limit of toxicity for all dendrimers. Dextran 20 μM and DMSO 10% were used as negative and positive control of cellular death, respectively. Data were represented as mean ± standard deviation of three independent experiments.
