The effect of application (in V1 by means of reverse microdialysis) of either aCSF (n = 8; same group as in Figure 3) or WAY 100635 (1 mM, n = 10) on LTP following TBS (at arrow) of the LGN in urethane-anesthetized rats. Application of WAY 100635 resulted in a significant increase in LTP relative to control animals.
