Trypanosoma parasites were cultured in the presence of 15 μM ML-2-3 for different time periods (0, 0.5, 1.5, 3, and 24 h), and then percentages of apoptotic and dead parasites were obtained using flow cytometry. The values are represented as the means from three different experiments. (B) Time course Western blot analysis on PFR-2 suppression using Trypanosoma cells treated with 15 μM ML-2-3.
