The error bars indicate the standard deviation over the different DW images present for each b-value. The black line shows the noise floor, i.e. $\sqrt{\pi ∕2}$ for the normalized data. The CSF signal is suppressed by > 99.99% at b = 3 ms/μm² and can therefore be assumed to be noise-only.
