Time out of work was stated by 36 patients with significantly longer absent periods for scar patients (16±10.5 weeks; max=130, min=4.5; n=14) compared to no-scar patients (5±0.9 weeks max=20, min=2; n=23). Both cohorts were compared using the Wilcoxon Signed Rank test.
