The actions of 1-stearoyl-2-arachidonoyl-sn-glycero-3-phospho-L-serine (SAPS) are not through modulation of the Type I IFN receptor (IFNAR). BEAS-2B cells were infected with human rhinovirus (HRV) (MOI 3) (a-c), then treated with SAPS; or pre-treated with SAPS for 1 h prior to the addition of IFN-β (10 and 100 ng ml−1) (d-f).
