Density of GS-IR cells throughout the SNc, VTA and SNr of male and female mice in adulthood following treatment with dexamethasone via the maternal drinking water prenatally on embryonic days 16–19 (AGTL 0.5 µg/ml; AGTH 1.0 µg/ml) compared to the control offspring of dams receiving normal drinking water. Data are mean ± SEM, n = 6 animals per treatment group
