Results are the means and standard errors of at least 4 measurements from at least 2 membrane preparations. (B) Proton translocation assays of the two mutants, with and without treatment with an MTS reagent. The fluorescence quenching of ACMA is initiated by deamino-NADH and is reversed by addition of FCCP.
