Representatives of the glomerular ultrastructure as detected using electron microscopy in (A) untreated normal control, (B) vehicle-treated, (C) 0.5 kg/l DBT-treated, (D) 1.0 kg/l DBT-treated, (E) 2.0 kg/l DBT-treated and (F) gliclazide-treated rats. The renal injury was substantially improved after six weeks of DBT treatment in the DBT-L, DBT-M and DBT-H groups.
