Analysis of CA19-9 serum level. A clear reduction in marker serum level was observed following 7 cycles of treatment with Doc + CF + 5-FU chemotherapy. This level remained within the normal range for almost 8 months. This was followed by a rebound in the levels of CA19-9, and the patient was administered a different chemotherapy regimen consisting of Oxa + S-1.
